in Phil's autobiog "Searching for the Sound" (which i HIGHLY recommend) he describes in technicolor detail how he (and some others) were insanely dosed while playing this show. in the hardcover it's page 146-149. he describes this night as "the peak of psychedelic music for me."

furthur: "At one point, I looked over at Jerry and saw a bridge of light like a rainbow of a thousand colors streaming betweenus; and flowing across that bridge 3-D musical notes ..." and he goes on and on describing the details of his visuals. pretty grate writing. check it and enjoy!

Steve's setlist is accurate as far as I can tell. Someone should amend it especially since it's the last Grateful Dead NPC. Love that it's been played again though wish Bobby would still sing the verses. Understand since it's Phil's composition and he can't sing the high parts anymore but still.

Many thanks to Uncle John Whelan of gdradio.net for broadcasting this show early today. Grateful to hear a "new show". Cosmic Charlie entirely appropriate way to end the show. "go on home your momma's calling you"
