You shouldn't my friend.
Not sure why, but this site is posting the New Riders set as the Dead.

These (VERY special) shows featured an acoustic set from the Dead, then a set from the New Riders of the Purple Sage, followed by a set of electric Dead.

At the time Jerry played pedal steel with NRPS but it was NOT part of the Grateful Dead show.

This show started at midnight. When we left the theater the sun was just rising.

I have a magazine that suggests that they might have played a show in Mountaindale, NY this very same night. I think there is some confusion somewhere, but just wonder if I am on to a show that hasn't really been discovered. My coworker claims he was there!!

My first show - pigpen had laryngitis, so no vocals that night, which is why I'm positive this was indeed the first of many on the bus. It was weird walking out of the Fillmore into early daylight.

The first set (acoustic) was "Mickey Hart and the Hardons". Then Jerry played pedal steel with the Riders. Especially remember Viola Lee and leaving at sunrise...
