Listening to this show on Sirius, great Jack Straw, good tempo, pretty much all Bobby. In between this and Loser they laugh about Steely Dan.

I never heard this show until the Dave's Pick release. The Other One>MAMU>The Other One is a monster.

big coconuts and leaping the stuff off the street until your logged down on it

What a cool find - I like when Dave releases shows that are a) not on or partially on the LAMA, and b) are worthy of release in the first place. This one is - lots of maracas and washboard sounds abound (that Pig?), the usual suspects are top-grade. No surprises here, just another awesome night of music. Absolutely worth having along with the Dick's Picks from the same run.

There's a Sugar Mag before Two Souls

Pretty sure the Steely Dan chit-chat refers not to the band but to the Burroughs novel the name came from. Steely Dan's first album was released later in 1972 so they were probably not really on anyone's radar just yet.
- (04/20/2022)

I think Robert is correct ab the Steely Dan reference. Pretty sure it's Pig who mentions it; he does so between Loser and LLR, not btwn Jack Straw and Loser.
