Comments:

i saw dark star orchestra play this show in erie, pa june '05......sick fuckin's stuff......last 4 songs of the 1st set are incredible....we get a little tiger during a wicked "playin'" meltdown.....the songs preceeding "dark star" are wonderfully executed albeit with nary a jam....but "dark star" more than makes up for that as there are 5 or 6 jams during the "star" that each represent a different genre of music>>>bluegrass, funk, blues, etc...and the ease and seamlessness with which they enter "brokedown palace" is absolutely gorgeous.....check this show out!!!!

I
You Win Again-last time played

II
Morning Dew-butter on your bread!
Don't East-last played 11.28.70
Promised/Ramble On (missing from tape)

Not much more to say beyond what Theo (Forbath perhaps) mentioned above. a hidden gem of a show.

It sounds like the dude up top thinks Dark Star Orchestra plays the exact show the Dead played note for note or something and THEY DON'T! They merely do their own versions of the setlist...

Theo! I will never forget coming into your apartment that one and only time and looking around the walls and only seeing media and music. I love being enthralled by people's smarter than me that love the same band.
Keep taping....
