Working my way though my bootleg collection and this show really stood out to me. Great playing all around. Definitely worth a listen - or two!

Worth it for Stella Blue alone. Jerry is just pouring emotion in this one.

About halfway through TMNS it sounds like the wheels start to fall off or something, like Bob and Jerry and Phil can't all get on the same page. Some um, "rough" transitions in a couple spots there.

So to start the 2nd set Bob comes out and says, "We had a meeting backstage and we decided we were going to try to keep the bloopers to a minimum this set." So they launch into Playin' but Jerry is way off-key, like he's either on the wrong string or too high up on the neck. It takes him most of the first verse to get it together. Then after the "I can't stop for nothin'..." verse Bob and Donna both sound like they're cracking up, just about to lose it. Later in the set they both crack up again during Around & Around.

Makes me wonder if maybe the band had caught up with Bear or something and may have been experiencing some "chemically-induced confusion". Fun show though. Ya gotta love that Playin'->St. Stephen->The Wheel->Playin'!
