Caution: Do not listen to the end of Space and intro of NFA while driving. This will cause excessive speed. Nothing like having a member of Hells Angels ride up on stage and play the intro of NFA with his muffler!

Hey there, this was my first ever Dead show, attended 3 days after my high school graduation. What an experience ! Made me a Dead fan forever.
I've been searching for a recording of this show, for sentimental reasons at the very least and since I remember it was a great sounding show. If anyone can help me out with this I'd sincerely appreciate it. Cheers !

Something happened that night. The energy is insane and they keep pushing it, all the way through the encores. My favorite Sugar Mag (featured on 30 DoD), and plenty of other all time contenders. This is perhaps the most overlooked show in the post hiatus Godchaux era. Hotter than any of the July shows, and a real top 5 show of the year.

As usual for this era, a great show is ruined at the end by Bobby and Donna's over the top screaming. Portions of NFA, GDTRFB, Around and Sugar Mag (specifically Sunshine Daydream) are UNLISTENABLE. Fucking horrible.
