If I had to spend the rest of my life on a desert island and could only have one piece of music to listen to, it would be the Franklin's from this show. If it doesn't move you to your very core, I don't know what could.

Unfortunately, I only have it on a compilation made for me by a friend 20 years ago. I would love to trade for a copy of the entire show.

Holy shit this show is incredable. It just launches on so many levels. And if you think about what was goin on then; Jerry had hopes of replacing Kieth and donna with brent after hearing him play with Bob Weir a month before. The audiance already knew what was gonna happen to winterland after the new year and this was one of the last shows of a great little fall tour. They were amped up on adrenaline and whatever else was around and it shows. Good shit.

And there is an Ollin Arrageed Melody being played during the space before Shakedown. Just an instramental noodle though, no Hamza.

Mississippi>>Franklins...
Pretty common in the late 70's and 80's. Opened a set maybe 40 times or so.

Thanksgiving show. Happy Thanksgiving. Good show. Keith sucked he was too high to play but of course Jerry knew how to play high.
