my 1st show ever,i was working at a college radio station and we played a fair amount of terrapin & shakedown, but had no idea what i was really in for, wow! a great show,i remember lots of dancing & singing and loving every minute of it, one of those things that changes you forever.....thank you!

This is one of the best second sets I've ever heard, I wish they would make a Dick's Picks from this show. I had a tape of this show; however, I wore it out. How can I get it on CD??????
-

I remember several things about this show.
First, during Ollin Arrageed, Bill Walton was onstage performing as one of the clappers.
And, as they rolled into St Stephen, there was an audible gasp by the audience. Coolest Stephen.
Finally, the entire second set smoked.
Check it out, no laid back mellow tunes to be found - It simply rocked

If anyone has this show please email me im new to the dead but i will pay money for a tapes

II
Scarlet>Fire>Playin>Shakedown Street
Only time this non stopp boogie chillin was performed. Just when you think 11.17.73 was the best Pauley Pav
show in the books.

This second set is just sick. I like it better than anything they did the next night at Winterland's closing.

My first show too. That night I got on the bus.

Actually enjoyed this show more than following night's NYE Winterland Closer.I got very little sleep after UCLA.
Except for Dark Star, song selection was equally excellent both nights. In fact, UCLA had extra long song selection. I enjoyed excellent sight and sound behind the stage for 12/30. About 10 rows up.
Felt like I was on an extended stage. I was on stage for 12/31/72 and 2/26/77 among others.
