They opened with Alabama Getaway, no one really knew the song, and the cranked it for 15 minutes.

8th time Alabama played. Love the 1st set Peggy-O>Cassidy.
-

Scarlet>Fire, Terrapin>Playin, Sailor>
Saint
Only time all of these songs in one set. Triple combo blockbuster for the steel city.

Alabama- Instead of a Phil bomb think of this is a Phil barrage World War I style. He is muscular & lead instrument throughout the entire song. Thought it was just a different source when I was checking on YouTube, Nope, gratefully so full Phil on this version. Tomm, you're absolutely right>15 minutes of blasting great music.

"Dude it's only the first song"

It's listed as under 9 minutes on every version offered on the Internet Archive. Why did you lie, Tom and Perrinswolf?

The show ( via tape trade in Feb 1980 ) that converted me. The 2nd set just a killer and I still recall the moment when the light bulb went off and I was on the bus for life
