Comments:

Saw this band many times and this show was magic! Rained like hell but it didn't seem to bother anyone. This in my opinion was the best show I ever saw the Grateful Dead perform.

I agree with Thomas - out of the seven times I saw them, this was, by far, the best show I saw them perform. Not a cloud in the sky when they started "Looks Like Rain", and by the end of the tune it was dark as midnight. Although it rained like a bastard, no one's spirits were dampened in the least. Definitely one of the top 5 that's occurred in my life (which includes my wedding and the birth of my two sons). Get a boot of this one if you can.

He's gone for Keith

First "He's Gone" following Keith's death. I'm going to look for this boot.

Anyone who was there remember them doing "He's Gone". Bittersweet I imagine.

I, too, remember it the torrential downpour. People in front of us were sliding down a small hillside as if it was a Wham-o Slip and Slide. Lots of fun that night at the show. C.C. Rider was great.
-Sean Tracy (12/10/2012)

CC Rider was jamed into the begining of China Cat and started the set. Guess you can't get em all right.

Guy in the back seat threw a beer bottle out and the cops were right behind us, didn't know why the cops pulled me over. Cops took all our beer and gave me a ticket. The band was playing Alabama get away when we were getting busted out front. Cops let us go so we went into the show. Rained like hell, hooked up with a old girl friend, the night was magical. It was the beginning of 30 plus shows all over USA for me. The guy who got me busted is not my friend no more.
