Comments:

One of only 2 out of the 135 shows I ever got locked out of. During the show we climbed up on top of the venue and layed on the roof near some large air vents. We could hear the show really good for about half an hour of the second set. We eventually were discovered and got kicked off. What a trip.

Bad acid at this show. Bobby made an announcement about it. Only time I've ever heard that

Playing now on GDRadio (9/20/2017 4:32 EDT) but they skipped the whole second set and went right to the encore. WTF Uncle John? Shit now they are playing the 2nd set? And I'm not even high.
-Dave Fadoul (09/20/2017)

"Bad Acid" is sometimes stated as a joke, based on the Woodstock announcement of "the brown acid is bad." Not saying true here, but it does occur. I heard it somewhere live in the last month...peace

was at this show, and the acid comment seemed serious.

speaking of locked out, a buddy of mine got in when a crazed tripper brokethe window to a dorr with his head during deep elum.

Hey Dave, this was very common back in the day when all the bootleg concert recordings we traded were on 2 90 minute Maxell cassette tapes. The end of the first set was always on side B of tape 1 and there was usually a decent amount of blank space so the encore was placed there. Especially if the second set was a long one. I Miss Jerry every single day.

the price of a visit to Deep Ellum goes up by ten bucks over the course of the song!
