One of the best shows I saw, ever. The China Cat > Rider was very impressive as was The Other One. The Johnny B. Goode featured some of Brents best work.

My first of many shows. I jumped on the bus and never got off after this one. Looking back its probably one of the best set lists of any i saw. Promised Land and Johnny B. Goode in same show...very rare.

Eighty four shows if you could call that rare...I had a great time, good show.

My old lady went into convulsions during The Other One. I had to carry her to the doors to get air and calm down. The army should hire Phil to design sonic weapons.

my notes say no SSDD after Sugar Mag at this show..

Bossgobbler, for this period it was rare, only happened twice this year and then next time wasn't til 89. So Brooke has it right, a rare combo indeed. The West L.A. was pretty chill as well. Can't say i wasn't havin a smilin good time listenin.

... thank you Sirius for playing TIGDH the 10/5/1984 Charlotte show ... we started the fall 84 tour here & traveled to Richmond, & a long ass hall to Worcester (2), Augusta ME (2), HARSHFORD (2), the cops bite shit in Hartford, worse in America .. then off to Jersey (2) and end up at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse NY... it was a great IKO IKO that fall....

IKO IKO on & on .......

Certainly nothing at all to complain about in this setlist. The West LA is a great groove, a really nice feel to it. Always love a Dupree's. Might As Well rocks as a good set closer. China > Rider AND Estimated > Eyes? Yes please. I think the second set highlight is the Other One, though. The section between verses is absolute fire. It's like 1968 all over again. A really nice start to fall tour.
