Cops in PG county were especially out of control this night. The cops on horses were bustin hippies heads all over the place. The Cap Centre was a great place to see the band they usually broke out there but you had better watch yer ass with the PG cops or you would easily find trouble.

1st of 4 solid nights! TLEO--very sporadic since fall '84...this one 1st in 33 shows. Dire Wolf was a treat. Great night to set the tone for the rest of the stay.

Being so close D.C. and with Mrs. Reagan stickin her nose where it didn't belong (aka. the expansion of the war on drugs she probably bitch whipped rinny boy into signing) it doesn't surprise me that you guys were getting hassled hard by pigs on parade. Nassau Colliseum and Jones Beach Amphitheatre are still like this. I think for certain shows at Nassau, you get searched entering the lot.
