Comments:

this was a very very hot show. bertha was a commentary (so it seemed) on the police state parking lot scene..cops dressed like "hippies" in black leather jackets! bwahha. when jerry got to the verse, "test me test me" brent burst in with "WHY DONT YOU ARREST ME!" that set the pace for the rest of the first set. row jimmy was sweet sweet

then they stared to play something no one around me seemed to know and brent started to sing another relationship gone bad song that turned out to be blow away which we thought was retired after the 1988 summer tour..and it fucking rocked...holy sheet...when he started the rap at the end and stuck his arm up in the air the people went berserk...what a site! wow!

the bird song was very trippy and phils other one premonitions came true later on in the show...bob ends the show with promised land and gets a great pop for mentioning carolina

the second set looks good...not great, but do not pass this one up. its a great show from a great tour

Bertha was smokin hot, what a way to kick off a show. Jerry singing, "Test me, test me" Brent screaming "WHY DON'T YOU ARREST,...THROW ME IN THE JAIL HOUSE"!! This literal got the house pumping. And then 11, count them, eleven "Any More's" Sweeeeet

I agree.....had to be careful that day...they were out in full force. Bertha rocked indeed, and Blow Away was superb. Gosh I miss Brent. Ugh.

LLRain>Perfect combo of Bobby stretching out the lyrics & Jerry's soulful pluckin in the soft spots

Heaven's Door: goosebumps w/Brent & Jerry harmonies

Bobby and the crowd were jacked up during Rider and I wonder what was happening that elicited the wave of cheers during the song. Whatever was happening the band put a lot of energy into the song.
