My second show! From what I remember, not half bad.

terrific show, I like the brendan byrne arena shows. Good place to drop acid, which I did more than once. Let the god times roll and bertha were great and a nice china cat sunflower into I know you rider. I got hassled by some cop after this show but I slugged him and got in some hippy van and drove off, did some more acid, chilled on some beach in jersey, and slept there. Those were the days

Probably one of the weakest shows I ever saw-

coming off of the 2 warlock blow-outs, I guess the boyz needed a rest

When I Paint My Masterpiece is included on the officially released CD "Postcards Of The Hanging."

I really like the drums in this one. The estimated>Terrapin is great too.

I don't remember this show, but it looks like a fun setlist. After 2 Giant Stadium shows in June, a JGB show in Sept and these 5 nights I was definitely done with traveling to East Rutherford. Security was brutal(literally)--It was open season on deadheads, then they killed poor Adam, and cooler heads prevailed after that, but I dont think they played Brendan Byrne ever again after this run
-Tomas (09/12/2013)

Mark is spot on, this show was shot. some moments of beauty, but for the most part, they sounded tired and disconnected. the 14-16 shows are far better. the 13th rest day definitely helped.

And only the third time the China -> Rider -> Estimated -> Terrapin was played. other two were 10/29/80 - Radio City and 4/19/84 - Philly. Really good combo that they only broke out for important runs.
