VERY HOT!!

I never thought they would play this good after the previous night! Highlights of the show were definitely in the second set. Everything going into the drums was solid & powerful at the start then drifting into some great pschedelic jams duing Uncle John's.
The Space section of this show was one of the freakiest ones I've heard at a show. Black Peter was sweet as usual & being a big Crumb fan, I had to get the "I freaked at the Creek" shirt.

After and epic show the night before, this show was not far behind. Jerry pulling out TLEO, Althea and China Doll made for another spectacular evening. The Jack Straw is smokin' too!! The best two night run there is.

Jack Straw from 7-19-90 is for the ages.
Listen how in the jam Jerry climbs to the top of the pyramid and the touches the Source pf energy, and the crowd responds, knowingly. I wish I could remember this.

Two Row songs in a Row; interesting.
Coincidence, I think not.

My first show. Absolutely blown away. My personal highlight was Watchtower and NFA.

i was arrested at this show as i got ready to go in with a large amount of perforated paper who had hung out with lucy for some time .. in the same neighborhood of tim t.

since i was not from the state of indiana and the neighborhood i was in .. time was piling up..

after the show the sheriff came to my cell and called out my name .. when i got up and said "yes" he said are you peter again i said yes, he said he had been talking to Mr. Garcia and want me to let you know you were on their mind as they played their show tonight .. he said something else to me but i didn't understand what he said or what it was and he walked away ..

If I stand correct-this is the last Althea that Brent played with the band.

-Breeze (06/08/2020)

Most likely he was dead 8 days later.

Judging from the setlist, 7/18 looks like the stronger of the two Creek shows IMO. Since DP 40 will have both shows, I don't mind so much. DP 36 was a two-fer as well...
