No Hornsby at this show. Average.

i absolutely LOVE the '90-'92 dead (and think despite majority opinion that its '87 to '93 and not anytime in the 70's that were the deads best) lineup and setlists, but of course the shows sans hornsby were somewhat lacking. vince really found his way late '92 and into '93, but in '90 and '91 he clearly played second fiddle to horsby and thus wasnt really "on" when he had to carry the show.

true about vince not shining until 92 93 area but bruce just always played so damn fast and busy its a bit too much sometimes in a bad way

This was my final show. My wife was with me, 6 months pregnant with our first son. The "Me & My Uncle>Maggie's Farm" was outrageous, as was the "Ruben & Cherisse" first set closer. The evening closed out on a beautiful, wild note with a "Box" encore. Had I known I would not see another show, I would have relished the moment more. I guess life is like that...

Listening to this show on Sirius and it is terrific. I really enjoy the Rubin & Cherise. I went to the next two night but wasn't able to get to this one.

Jerry only sang Rubin And Cherise four times with the dead. I was at the show in "The Coliseum" as we locals called it. I looked at my friend Mark and said "Whoa"!!! Of course, Jerry played it frequently with JGB etc. And not remembering Box Of Rain until seeing this setlist makes be smile, since Phil's recent passing.
