The transition from UJB into Saint is spot on! I didn't catch this show (I caught the next night), but this is a good example of a good 1991 Grateful Dead show. Hornsby shines - his jam into drums is wonderful - and Vince doesn't wreck songs by filling the spaces with those Casio tones he tended towards while Bruce was in the band.

Bruce was RAGING before drums. The eyes was really chill and then Bruce just rips towards the end. I'll always say i'm a Brent man, but Bruce is a beast who should be acknowledged for the monster keys player he is.

nice song list. opening with Hell in Bucket...I remember this was the song they opened up with at the Bill Graham Memorial concert a few weeks later...got me back on the bus after an absence of 15+ years. see my comments of 3 23 75 for info...SF WPOD in the day...
