This was my last show. And my girlfriend's first and last show. She had put her dog, Bo, to sleep a couple days earlier and started just crying a river during "He's Gone." The next night my friend accidentally gave my girlfriend some kind of amphetamine crap instead of Ibuprofin so I spent the night at the ER in some chaotic south side hospital. I became a Christian in '93 and didn't go to any more shows, but now I'm integrating the music back into my life because it's so f-ing good.

Great show, but the closer and especially the encore were disappointments, for me. I saw nine or ten shows after this one, including the last St. Louis shows, and it was a steady downhill trend from here.

Love the train thing during drums!

Memories of Bob and Jerry not seeing eye to eye on song selection. Bob kept trying to play watchtower. Jerry tore up so many roads instead. Bob's fake ending and restarting lovelight caused JG to tell him to turn off his lovelight. Turmoil always made for interesting shows. Next night they got along and it was boring. Brent could have saved that night but he left us way
too soon...

Saw this show with my girlfriend. Beautiful setting in Chicago, sun setting over the lake. I remember getting stuck on the freeway and wondering if we'd make it on time. Huge show with tons of great songs, really loved G L O R I A as the encore
