the first set of this show was quite a treat. i was right up front and i can remember bobby haggling the band as to how many intro beats they should do for biodtl. if i remember correctly, he wanted to do it right after shakedown but was denied. he said screw it and did it any way though for his next selection. for a post breant show, the first set really cooks and the song selection is fantastic.
as for the seocnd set...well....what can be said. fucking great. i do think, however, that the cassidy>ujb>cassidy jam is blown out of proportion a little. yes, it was great to hear the boys trying to push this tune a little, but the transitions were very ragged if my thoughts serve me correctly. all in all it was a thrill to hear them pull this off however. too>wharf rat>sugar mag closer, the old war-horse grouping, rocked and gloria was played with much energy.
