Comments:

I remember sitting in the mayor's box at the Horizon watching Jerry try to slow the rest of the band down during DarkStar, but they didn't seen to want any part of it for some reason and sped away.

I have never been colder at a dead show. rediculous wind. they don't call it the windy city for nothing.
not too happy with the half assed dark stars. Love s.o.t.m. though

There was nothing negative about this show! Vince was up to speed, and I swear a flying saucer was hovering over that night during the second set.

This show resonated me with Garcia's Ballads. The vocal extension's at the end of SOTM and So Many Roads I trully love. 1993 I noticed a change in SOTM, Stella, and AM DEW,ETC. THIS run was my first of 1994 and I was happy to see Garcia explode his emotions vocally. This I never thought would be apart of these ballads. As Jerry aged I supposed these ballads would be guitar driven closings. To have guitar vocal guitar, vocal brought me such tears of joy. This was what I'll always remember from this particular run.

I have mixed feelings on some covers because often the songs are so identifiable with the original band (I don't think anyone, even The Who, did a better version of Baba O'Reilly than the original on Who's Next).

But they did a nice job on I Fought The Law to close out the show. Nothing fancy or elaborate but a good way to end the evening.
