Worst first set ever
-Dave (02/22/2008)

"worst 1st set ever?"

really?

wow. have you heard the 5 song 1st set in '86 before jerry's coma?
obviously not.
this aint anything special, but its far from the "worst ever" also.
-gdjake (03/18/2008)

Terrible show. The whole 3 night run was terrible, actually.

Noooo Waaay by far NOT the worst first set list ever. Considering Jerry's health during his last few months I found this show strong~ Jerry really put forth. Lazy River Road was gr8! I was there Thank you Jerry for 1 helluva Mardi Gras show!
- (04/22/2013)

On paper it is a bit of a limp first set but whatever, I'll take it. Mardi Gras seems a fitting last show of over a hundred for me.

Talking with my buddy yesterday and I claimed that this was the worst show I ever saw. My suspicions were confirmed this morning. Jerry is beyond messed up, and practically slurring his words. Not even a Charlie Miller mastering can save this train wreck. During D/S I went exploring the basement of the Oakland Coliseum. It was a freaky, freaky place. Yikes.
-Anonymous (03/25/2018)

This was my final show. I don't know that it was the worst first set "ever," but if there's a worse one "ever" it would have to be pretty terrible.
The opener was almost painful and it didn't get much better. It was disjointed and scandalously short.

Open your ears . Jerry doesn’t miss any lyrics and sings clearly . His guitar playing is fine he is picking and jamming not just strumming .salt lake and Oakland first two runs of 95 are good if u ask me .
